As much as I like the exploits of our dear Zehly and her quest to get away from these retarded immature boys that crowd her life. I must say WTF was the admin thinking? I would fire a moron like that! Not to say that Zehly is not a complete goddess of beauty and intellect. However if you allow any one to social engineer you that easily you may want to become a Helpdesk Tech not a Network Administrator of a large University. I don't like perverts :/ They scare me. As to the person commenting on the admin: we don't have just 1 admin, the responsibility is shared, and at one point I was admin too, until I got into research. I got the password because he knew I wasn't going to do anything overly stupid.

ive been on that last minute "needtofinishthisomfgaaah" side waaay too often, and when something retarded like "you got banned" pops up its just... uncool. now im not saying what they did is very nice either... but you kinda screwed em pretty harshly for about 5 minutes of verbal "whatgoesoninadolescentsheads" anyway kinda stuff.

there was actually a teacher in my school (it was in a programming class).. he saw this one girl who didnt log off, so he gets on her acount, finds her resume, changes it to say something to the effect of "i kill baby rabbits"...and she doesnt notice. so when she goes to send it to some volunteer thing theyre like... stay away creep.

so all in all... not very cool

This new generation makes me just shake my head. I guess they got what was coming to them, but when did it ever become wrong to turn around and just cuss the living hell out of them? Especially a girl... just let them have it right there and if they do anything at all, guys you don't know will be in their faces. You did what you had to do, but lately it seems if people don't have a gun or a computer they can't solve simple problems.

And you wonder why people hate admins... Ok, yes they were doing inappropriate things, but you had NO REASON to do what you did. That breaks like every single rule of adminning at once. I've heard some bad stories, but this is the worst one ever. They weren't even using the computers for crying out loud! Sure its creepy, but you can't misuse your power or apply it for personal gain. That's why people hate mods and admins. They are frequently jerks and pull stunts like this and think its funny and tell their friends. Please don't defend this in any way. It's very indefensible. Sure I've kicked people off before and had fun doing it... but they were looking at PORN in the school library on the computers, which is a violation of policies they aggred to. Find where it says you can prevent them from doing homework because they talk/act dirty OFF the computers. Sure what they're doing is wrong, but there are appropriate channels to deal with it. Acting irresponsibly and abusing power is not one of them.
